The second part of the challenge requires the use of the equalsIgnoreCase method. In this part, you are supposed to compare the firstExample to the thirdExample (not the secondExample as you have in your code). In addition, you need the output statement to be exactly what is indicated in the challenge or it will not pass.

thanks Ted Dunn for the help. but Dunn the question is like this "Add an if statement that checks to see if firstExample is equal to secondExample. If it is, print out "first is equal to second"." the point i was missing is this " console.printf("the two statement are equal");" i should have printed first is equal to second any way thanks alot .
