in this exercise, I am using to see is one variable equate to another, I feel like im doing it right, but im still getting an error

Equality.java
// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console. 
String firstExample = "hello";
String secondExample = "hello";
String thirdExample = "HELLO";

if (firstExample.equals(secondExample()) {
  console.printf("first is equal to second");

You're nearly there, you just have one extra opening parenthesis here:

if (firstExample.equals(secondExample()) {

It should be

if (firstExample.equals(secondExample)) {
