2,052 PointsEliminate Default Terminal Stuff?
I haven't ever used terminal really... I have this every time I open a new terminal window: Last login: Sun Mar 9 23:40:52 on ttys006 You have new mail. Name-Lastnames-MacBook-Pro:~ username$
Every time I enter a command, I get: Name-Lastnames-MacBook-Pro:response username$
...for example. How do I get rid of all this extra junk and make it work like the video?

2,052 PointsI can't figure it out.
It tells me what to type, and more stuff to type...but am I supposed to be hitting enter at some point? Also, when I type "nano .bash_profile" and hit enter, there is already text there. It doesn't tell me what to do with that text. I'm a serious noob at this.
Is this part of the Console Foundations course?
