driver.get not a function

I have selenium and chromedriver installed on my ubuntu 16.04 OS and i'm not exactly sure why the function isn't working, can anyone shed some light on the situation?

In order to shed helpful light instead of a flashbang grenade, I'd like to know a little more about what you're trying to do.

a) Some context around how you are currently attempting to use driver.get in the form of a code snippet would help me understand a little bit about what you are trying to do.

Currently all I know is that you have typed

driver.get()

b) Describe in your words - forget about code or Selenium or Linux or Chrome - what you are trying to accomplish?

c) What do you think driver.get is supposed to do?

If you can do this much, I might be able to guide you further than you are now.
