In general, single or double quotes can be used interchangeably (but of course, only in matched pairs).

Please re-state the question if that is not what you were asking.

Hi Steven, as I working in Windows operating system. Single quotes showing error in Visual Studio and won't show content in browser. Thanks hope this helps

It works just fine for me with the single quotes. But while these are OK (I copied/pasted this code), perhaps in other situations you're getting word-processor type ("curly") quotes. Now those would be a problem.
