231,271 PointsIn general, single or double quotes can be used interchangeably (but of course, only in matched pairs).
Please re-state the question if that is not what you were asking.

231,271 PointsIt works just fine for me with the single quotes. But while these are OK (I copied/pasted this code), perhaps in other situations you're getting word-processor type ("curly") quotes. Now those would be a problem.
