Adam, the point I was trying to make was, essentially: don't upset your users by making too many changes at the same time. For example, if you have a main menu with 6 links and you rename 3 of them, it could make it difficult to figure out which changes were good ones, and if they all truly worked. My advice is to try one fix at a time so you can confirm it's a positive one. But if you need to make a major change that impacts a lot of stuff, give your users a heads up - tell them about the change, what's happening, and why. The main idea is: keep your users happy while you fix stuff. :)
