Don't know why is this wrong...

Everything that needs to be indented is...

trial.py 
def add(five, two):
    try:
    five = float(five)
    two = float(two)
    except ValueError:
    return(None)
    else:
    return(five + two)

Hey Nicolas,

The content of your code is 100% correct, but the indentations are what's wrong. Remember Python is a very indent dependent language, and even one space off will break the code.

So, the variables need to be 'inside' the try block. The first return needs to be 'inside' the except block. And, the second return needs to be 'inside' the else block.

Other than that, everything looks great. :smile:

def add(five, two):
    try:
        five = float(five)
        two = float(two)
    except ValueError:
        return(None)
    else:
        return(five + two)
