Courses Plus Student 5,796 Pointsdont know where to begin
i dont even know where to start.. i feel like i'm in way over my head at this stage of treehouse.. ive started from the beginning and been thru the tracks properly but it just feels like these tasks have just got much harder all of a sudden... am i the only one who has this problem of feeling like they continuously dont know where to start with the tasks and if so is there any extra help out there that anyone is aware of... even if it cost more money... like if I upgraded my subscription do they offer more personalised help or something.
please can I get more advice or can someone point me in the direction of more advice because I feel like I'm struggling at every stage

// This would set count to 1 because player1 has 1 'p' tile in her collection of tiles
count = player1.getCountOfLetter('p');
// This would set count to 2 because player1 has 2 'd'' tiles in her collection of tiles
count = player1.getCountOfLetter('d');
// This would set 0, because there isn't an 'a' tile in player1's tiles
count = player1.getCountOfLetter('a');
// This will return 3 because player2 has 3 'z' tiles in his collection of tiles
count = player2.getCountOfLetter('z');
// This will return 1 because player2 has 1 'f' tiles in his collection of tiles
count = player2.getCountOfLetter('f');

Don't sweat it man just keep going and it'll come. It would help out if you'd include the instructions with your question. I think in this one it's asking for the getCountOfLetter method. Which is a structure that's used all over the place so. Goes something like this...
public int getCountOfLetter(char letter) {
//initialize your variable for your int return
int count = 0;
//iterate through your string
for(char a : getTiles().toCharArray()) {
if ( a == letter ) {
//increment your variable
count++;
}
}
return count;
}
Didn't test this code out but something like that should work. Main thing is if you hit a wall build a ladder or ask somebody to help you build one.

1,309 PointsWhich part or challenge are you stuck on? I would look at the example code they gave you. Such as the methods in class ScrabblePlayer. See how they structure their methods and do the same with certain parameters the challenge is asking for.
