589 PointsDoes the superuser have ultimate authority over file permission?
After I have changed the permissions of a file to read only and have changed the user ownership to another user. I try to change the permissions knowing that file is not mine and I fail. I tried again with the super user and I succeeds. I could change it even though the file does not belong to me. How is that possible?

sudo
command, it can be limited in a way that using theroot
account can not.
