467 PointsDoes not eat the PEZ
My PEZ dispenser does not eat the pez like it is supposed to, it just skips right to saying all the pez were eaten.
This is the code in Example.java: while (dispenser.dispense()){ System.out.println("Chomp!"); }
if (dispenser.isEmpty()) {
System.out.println("Ate all the PEZ");
}
This is the code in PezDispenser.java: public boolean dispense() { boolean wasDispensed = false; if (!isEmpty()) { pezCount--; wasDispensed = true; } return wasDispensed; } public boolean isEmpty() { return pezCount == 0; }
Output that is given to me:
"We are making a new PEZ despenser
FUN FACT: There are 12 PEZ allowed in every dispenserThe dispe
nser is Yoda
Dispenser is empty
Filling the dispenser with delicious PEZ...
Ate all the PEZ"
Please help me understand why this is not working.

2,918 PointsMaybe you forgot to actually call the fill method in your Example.java code. You clearly have the System.out.println("Filling the dispenser with delicious PEZ...");
The next line in the Example.java should call the fill method to set the pezCount to MAX_PEZ of 12: dispenser.fill();
My guess is that you're not seeing the CHOMP output because your dispenser isn't correctly filled yet.
