// I have initialized a java.io.Console for you. It is in a variable named console.Strin name=
String response = console.readLine ("Do you understand do while loops?");
int answer = Integer.parseInt (response);
if (answer = no) {
console.printf("Do you understand do while loops?");
}
String response;
boolean isInvalidWord;
do {
response = console.readLine ("Do you understand do while loops?");
isInvalidWord = (response.equalsIgnoreCase ("no"));
if (isInvalidWord) {
console.printf ("Try again.");
}
while (isInvalidWord);

15,967 PointsIt may be here:
String response = console.readLine ("Do you understand do while loops?");
int answer = Integer.parseInt (response);
if (answer = no) {
console.printf("Do you understand do while loops?");
}
because i don't know why you try to parse response to Integer. It is actually possible but not for every string e.g for string "123" It's possible to parse it to 123 Integer, but "no" cannot be parsed like this.
Was it helpful?

Craig Dennis
Treehouse TeacherThe response will be either yes or no.
Do not worry about parsing. Did you get farther through?
