do not know what is wrong with html code ?

do not know what is the problem because every thing seem right but it the code came with an error message saying that ("img/numbers-01.jpg") is not displayed.

The instructions said, "Leave the alt attributes blank, and don’t add any captions or links. Just the images!" But this code has a paragraph caption for each image, and links ("a" elements) wrapped around them.

Also, the list item tags ("li") are misplaced. Instead of wrapping the images, they occur in front of the images.

And be careful of spacing between properties.

So, where you have all this for one of the images:

        <li>
        </li>
          <a href= "img/numbers-01.jpg">
          <img src= "img/numbers-01.jpg"alt="">
          <p> try to create an 80's style</p>
        </a>

You really should have just this:

        <li>
          <img src="img/numbers-01.jpg" alt="">
        </li>
