4,855 Pointsdo I need to be doing more than | String name = console.readLine(); | here?
Not sure what the issue is here. I don't know what I am missing since nothing else has really been explained about necessary syntax here as fas as I can tell.
// I've imported java.io.Console for you. It is stored in a variable called console for you.
String name = console.readLine();

Yeah, you need just a bit more. I see that it's not specified in the instructions, but I believe it's meant to be assumed that if you're using console.readLine
, prompting the user for input is needed. :)
So, just add the prompt for the user to the readLine()
method, and your all good.
String name = console.readLine("Enter your name: ");
Keep Coding! :)
