1,504 PointsDo I have to upload the database and copy files across using my ftp client or just upload the database?
If I've made changes to my website using the local host, does uploading the database change content or just the way content is displayed...? I saw in a previous vid it says updating the live website by replacing files with ftp is bad practice.... I'm a little confused by that...

5,388 PointsIf you've added or changed content in posts (blog posts, pages, products etc), you will need to update the database. A new blog post won't show up in your live site if you don't update the database. I use wordmove to push things to the server and it works great. It can be difficult to set up though, but it's fantastic once it's up and running. Really recommend :)
