Do I do the same process, including the MAMP user set up for each individual website I wish to create.

Within the process of creating a new website, do I follow the video steps changing each step relative to the website I wish to create? (username, host..). I have managed to create a new file no problem within "sites" and copy the Wordpress files over to it, but when I clicked on the link in local host and entered the details I thought were correct from the video it said files are already uploaded do I wish to continue? feel like I have taken a wrong turn or used the previous details for the test which was not correct

In fact, each time you'll host a new wordpress instance in your MAMP folders, you'll have to recreate the « Wordpress Setup » steps. Because Wordpress need to link your website to a new database.
