Python

Disallow assigning variable on creating a function test

You can pass the exam, but its not using the passed argument. But a new variable also named variable. This could lead to programmers thinking they have understood the passing arguments, but really they havent.

i.e

def square(number):
    return (number*number)

number = (5)
print(number)

This works and returns 5

This also works but contains 25 which is the correct squared amount of 5.

def square(number):
    return (number*number)

print(square(5))
