3,519 PointsDifficulty with creating intent
I keep getting error messages when trying to create new intent.
import android.content.Intent;
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.view.View;
import android.widget.Button;
public class LaunchActivity extends Activity {
public Button mLaunchButton;
@Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_launch);
mLaunchButton = (Button)findViewById(R.id.launchButton);
mLaunchButton.setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() {
@Override
public void onClick(View v) {
// Add your code in here!
Intent intent= new Intent(this.FlightActivity.class);
startFlightActivity(intent);
}
});
}
}

6,918 PointsHey, from looking at your code. Change your line from startFlightActivity(intent) to startActivity(intent) this method starts the activity.

7,806 PointsYour first error is that you used this(dot) should be this this(comma) then FlightActivity.class. then you put startActivity(Intent)
see below: Intent intent= new Intent(this, FlightActivity.class); startActivity(intent);
