527 PointsDifficulty coding hoover state
Add a hover state for navigation links that changes the text color to the value #32673f. Error Message: Bummer! Did you style nav links hover state (:hover)?

2,762 PointsI couldn't remember the HTML structure used, so in my example I was selecting the anchor tags within an unordered list item. I am sure you will learn this bit as you go along :-)
the problem with your code is the space between a: hover should be a:hover
cheers

2,762 PointsHey it should be something like this....
nav li a:hover { color: #32673f; }
Cathy Dinas
527 PointsThanks Matt! There was no mentions of li in the video, what is the significance of that?
i was trying... nav a: hover {color" #32673f}
Matt Harris
2,762 PointsJust to expand on this you set the color initially with the hex value and add the above code under it e.g
So setting the initial color of the nav links and then changing this color when hovering over them.
nav li a {
color: #ff0000
}
nav li a:hover {
color: #32673f
}

527 PointsThanks so much for the detailed advice, the space was what was throwing me off kilter.
Best & Happy coding!
