What am I missing guys, I can't seem to make progress on this, I will appreciate assistance on this.

Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 33,271 Pointsyou are close, right now you are checking if the first item in items is 'abc' when it wants to you check if the first character in each item is 'a'. then you need an else statement after the if, and you just need to print the item, not item in items, you are already looping through items.
