Did he in this video connect the context file or what it is called to the older comicbook project? if so, where did he do that? or was this just a "local" test to show us how it would print the data if it were connected?

231,198 PointsDo you mean the project from the ASP.NET MVC Basics course?
I remember the Comic Book website in the other course — is that the one you mean? But the other course didn't involve Entity Framework, and the context is an EF concept.
Also, at this point in this course, the database has not been populated yet, so the examples in this video probably qualify as what you call a "local test".
