20,222 PointsDescription not showing up
When I add my title, description, and images into a portfolio post, I click update, and the description field goes blank, and then doesn't show up when I view the portfolio piece's page. Does anyone have any advice on this?

19,087 PointsHey Gabriel, I'm assuming you're using ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) to create the field(s) that's not saving. This might not be the case with your site, but in my experience that can happen if the name of the field has been used before and / or deleted in the past. When this happens, sometimes ACF gets hung up trying to reference the values from another field (possibly deleted field) with the same name. Try renaming your description field (something like "portfolio_description" to test). Try re-entering values into the field and saving. Hope this helps.

23,604 PointsI had this problem too. Check and see if you have the line: <?php the_post() ?> in your single-portfolio page. I did this and it breaks the php and doesn't seem to show any of the php content after the break..

19,087 PointsHey man, that's no fun :( Would you be able to post more info? If you could post your code and maybe a screenshot of the ACF field group you're working with I might be able to point you in the right direction.
