Can anyone just write me an answer to this challenge because I am out of my wits with these "simple" challenges. I would omit challenges but my perfectionist attitude won't let me to do so. Thank you!

5,826 PointsYou almost had it. You need to write a parameter, in this case: number
to use as a placeholder. And a little indentation fix and you're good to go!
def even_odd(number):
if number % 2 = 0:
return True
else:
return False
