variable multiple times (which is invalid) and you are not declaring a variable called lastName
like the task is instructing.
The code for the lastName
variable looks just like the code for the firstName
variable that you have already made, you just have to change the name of the variable like this:

String lastName = console.readLine("Enter your last name: ");
