Declare a constant named isWinner and assign the results of a comparison operation to check whether the player has won or not. For example, if the total score is not 10, then the player has won and isWinner should equal true. (Hint: Use the NOT operator)

operators.swift
// Enter your code below

var initialScore = 8
initialScore += 1

let isWinner = initalScore !=10

Hi Clairmont,

You have been a victim of the dreaded typo in code :). I cant tell you how many times I have stared at a wall of code with a big "?" on my forehead... only to later find a typo. Grueling but... can be identified easier within a xcode playground if you have access to that!

// Enter your code below

var initialScore = 8
initialScore += 1

let isWinner = initalScore !=10 // you spelled as "initalScore", needs to be "initialScore".

correct code:

// Enter your code below

var initialScore = 8
initialScore += 1

let isWinner = initialScore != 10

I hope this helps

thank you so much!! I was stuck for hours trying to figure out what i was doing wrong.
