Databases where autocommit is not switched ON why do they need to have BEGIN and COMMIT after and before every statement ?

231,184 PointsYou don't really need those on every statement. But just be aware that until you COMMIT
, everything you've done is visible only to you. Only after you COMMIT
are the changes visible to anyone else using the database.
