1,327 PointsDatabase Basics. Installing questions (mysql)
Hi, I'm Javier and I am following your videos on database basics.
I noticed that the website (mysql.com) has changed. So I followed your link so I can install the same database you are using. However, I noticed that it didn't prompt me to enter a password on the admin account. I'm new to databases. I appreciate all your help.
Regards,
Javier

7,960 PointsHi,
Even I was bit confused during installation as MySQL page has changed considerably. However, if you follow the steps you should be good. Don't worry if it does not ask for password as it usually does when opening the Workbench.
