CSS: "Take a Mobile 1st Approach" Launching Workspace. 2 Workspaces appear & I'm logged off the website.

11/19/14: When I launch my Workspace, I end up with 2 Workspaces & I'm logged off the Team Treehouse/Code Oregon web site simultaneously.

I also accidentally deleted my main.css file & need to recreate it.

Help!

Kathryn,

If you had an issue with the Workspace you could start fresh and create a new one. Select "Launch Workspace" to the right of the video and then "Create New Workspace". Name your workspace in the first field, leave "any environment" in the next field, and finally select "CSS: Cascading Style Sheets - Take a Mobile-First Approach" in the last field followed by selecting the "Launch it" button.

To recreate your main.css file simply right click on the left pane in Workspaces and select "New File" and name it "main.css". You can then move this into your "css" folder. Don't forget to then link your new stylesheet in your index.html using the following:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="css/main.css">

11/21/14 Dustin: Thanks for your help. I was able to recreate my main.css file & it works with my index.html file. Whew!

I notified Team Treehouse Tech Support about launching 2 Workspaces simultaneously issue. Somehow, I was able to use the "go back" arrow at the top of the window to get the "CSS: Cascading Style Sheets - Take a Mobile First Approach" page back, but the Workspaces launch is still a problem as I'm still launching 2 Workspaces simultaneously when I'm just trying to launch my original Workspace only.

Hi Kathryn,

It's weird, I am now having the same issue as you with the Workspace launching in both the main window and in a popup. I'll have to reach out to the support team as well and see if they know what is going on.

Yes, & last week, I clicked on the back arrow in the far upper left corner of the screen to get back to the video where I left off. Before then, it took me off the Team Treehouse web site entirely! Wouldn't be surprised if someone was trying to hack into their web site, either.

SE Works is also having network server issues. Whoever did the wiring/switching set up in the area did a very poor, sloppy job & now a new person has to go in & update all the wiring & switches & find the computer in the office that knocks off the entire office from their Internet connection. It's going to take some time to resolve here. Nothing I can do about it. I do know which 2 people to talk to at SE Works so I will ask them for an update about the network server situation. You may have to do likewise if you're using a public computer someplace & not at home. However, I think the network server issues here are a separate issue from Team Treehouse's web site problem with launching Workspaces.
