CSS practice

Hey guys,

Im new in Treehouse since this month, and i love it.!

I am learning basic web design course. I learn mostly all well and i can follow the tracks without problems.

The problem is that when i decide to practice HTML/CSS on my own, my mind went blank and i become frustrated.

Any suggestions to solve this? maybe drawing mockups first, finishing all tracks and i will practice later.. i don't know, all suggestions will be welcome!

hello , you have the same problem i have , to override that i keep writing on notes the basics of the lessons like id and classes - forms and buttons - tables and lists , with a simple define

IDs & Classes : ID = # Class = .

Forms & Buttons : Form = <form></form> Button = <button type"submit"></button>

Tables & Lists : Table = <table></table> List = <or></or><ul></ul>

This is my 3rd month practising only HTML and CSS. Today i just finished the second course on Front End Development which is " CSS ". I was in the same position like you and many others. I think the best way is only " PRACTISE". Just open by side your own Workspace and everything you learn try it to implement on your own Workspace and create a simple project. And the main rule that worked for me is " don't try to remember everything" you'll get lost and spent to much time. Only practising is "VALUE". Enjoy this great journey on becoming the next DEVELOPER.

This is my second month and i'm having alot of fun. Even the best web designers cannot remember every css and html tools. The basic principle is to remember the "synthax" of the language you are learning and make sure u always check on the teacher's note on every video because this contains the website you can go for the tools you need for your project and make sure u practice as much as you can. cheers
