Courses Plus Student 38,752 PointsThe challenge is asking you to create a selector for the list items nested inside of the element with the ID gallery. To select an element with an ID associated with it you use the # symbol before the name of the ID. So an element with the ID of gallery would be #gallery.
When selecting anything nested within an element you want to include it after that selector with a space in between them. So for this challenge you would use #gallery li to select the elements this challenge is asking for.
See the code example below:
@media screen and (min-width: 480px) {
#gallery li {
width: 28.3333%;
}
}

27,419 PointsHi Lisa,
The question asks you to create a new style definition inside the media tags at the bottom. This will target all 'li' within the 'gallery' id and set the width to 28.3333%.
In css this would look like this:
@media screen and (min-width: 480px) {
#gallery li { width:28.3333% }
}
