Your formula needs a little re-ordering.

What the instructions say about profit is "It should hold the value of the salesTotal variable minus the wholesalePrice multiplied by the quantity." So you need to re-arrange things a bit so salesTotal comes first, and the other things are subtracted from it.

You missed a point, you didn't read well, this is working : 

var profit = salesTotal - (wholesalePrice * quantity);

FYI: The parentheses are optional, since multiplcation takes precedence over subtraction.
