7,386 Pointscreate a global array
The instructions/problem I must answer is 'Create a gloabal array named "options" and include it in the options page function. What's always so frustrating about these questions is the language NEVER matches the actual language in the video. Unless a new person has previous experience with the multiple names for various patters of code, they have to guess what's being asked.
<?php
$options=array();
function my_plugin_options_page() {
if( !current_user_can( 'manage_options' ) ) {
wp_die( 'You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.' );
}
if( isset( $_POST['my_plugin_hidden_field'] ) ) {
$my_plugin_username = esc_html( $_POST['my_plugin_username'] );
}
require('includes/page-wrapper.php');
}
?>

4,816 PointsDeclaring $options = array(); is correct. You need to add global $array; as the first line inside the function.
