Create a for loop like this:

Create a for loop that will begin with a value of 5 and end with a value of 25. In each iteration, add the incrementing value to mathTotal. When the loop has finished running, set 'isComplete' to true. (HINT: the last value used INSIDE the loop should be 25).

I do not know what is wrong:

variable_assignment.mm 
  int mathTotal;
  BOOL isComplete;


    for (mathTotal = 5; mathTotal < 26; mathTotal++) {

      isComplete = YES;



    }

So what am I doing wrong? it's saying check your syntax!

Hey Frederico,

Some of these challenges are quite difficult to comprehend. I had to reread it about 5 times before I was able to figure it out. Let's break it down piece by piece...

  1. Create a for loop that will begin with a value of 5 and end with a value of 25.
int mathTotal;
BOOL isComplete;

for (int i = 0; i < 26; i++) {
}
  1. In each iteration, add the incrementing value to mathTotal.
int mathTotal;
BOOL isComplete;

for (int i = 0; i < 26; i++) {
    mathTotal = mathTotal + i;
}
  1. When the loop has finished running, set 'isComplete' to true.
int mathTotal;
BOOL isComplete;

for (int i = 0; i < 26; i++) {
    mathTotal = mathTotal + i;
}

isComplete = true;
