Treehouse TeacherHi Gianmarco! You're doing just fine, but your declaration of the count
variable is off. You declare the variable inside the for
loop. This has a couple of consequences. First, your count will be reset to 0 through each iteration of the loop. Secondly, you will receive a compiler error when you then try to return
count from outside the for loop. Remember, any variable declared inside a loop will only exist while that loop is running.
The solution here is to take int count = 0;
and move it up to the top of the method before the for loop.
Hope this helps!
