Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 33,271 Pointsthe body of your function is not indented from the def line, it all needs to be tabbed over once. then, you might need to change your try block a little. notice it is the same as your else block. the else will execute if the try is successful, so all the try needs to do is cast the arguments as floats. if that works, the else runs and the sum is returned, if not, the except runs.
