Okay, I just took the quiz for basic business. One of the questions was about intellectual property.
This is the question:
Intellectual property includes categories such as:
A) Bank accounts, cars, computers and cell phones
B) Patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets
C) House, car, bank loan
D) Business methods, plans, logos and secret recipes
The quiz says the correct answer is D. However, the more correct answer is B. Patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets are all part of intellectual property. Please fix this error.
If I'm wrong, please explain why D is the correct answer.

37,033 PointsD is the correct answer because B is a way to protect property but D is things that are actually the property. A logo, plans, business methods, and recipes are all things that you think up that belong to you.

in·tel·lec·tu·al prop·er·ty
noun: intellectual property;
- a work or invention that is the result of creativity, such as a manuscript or a design, to which one has rights and for which one may apply for a patent, copyright, trademark, etc.
Based on that definition, I'd have to agree with the answer being "D".

12,680 PointsD is correct. I design a magazine on intellectual property! logos, business methods and recipes are your properties to protect because you created them.
