In the video for splicing, Allison reused the background for optimization.
I downloaded the templates from Tileables and have trouble downloading the marbled texture on to a new Photoshop window. I was able to get the burgandy color from the original Tastes Like Bacon page by using the eyedropper and the paint bucket.
The eyedropper is also set to "Sample all layers."
How do I get the marble texture to be reused in another photoshop window?
I am using Adobe Photoshop CC.
