I try to convert int to float, but it does not work. The question is: Let's make sure we're always working with floats. Convert your arguments to floats before you add them together. You can do this with the float() function.
def add(float(num1),float(num2)):
return um1+num2
ad = add(1,1)
print(ad)

231,236 PointsYou can't put code inside the parameter declarations of a function. Only the parameter names can go there.
But you can perform float conversions inside the function body.
