Convert Function Arguments into float

Hello, I have tried 3 different ways to convert the arguments of the function into float; but no go. Please assist. Thank you.

Let's make sure we're always working with floats. Convert your arguments to floats before you add them together. You can do this with the float() function.

trial.py 
def add.float(num1, num2):
    return.float(num1 + num2)

You have to convert num1 and num2 to floats individually. If you just convert the computation then all that will be converted to float is the result of the computation, not the numbers themselves.

Like this:

def add(num1, num2):
    return float(num1) + float(num2)
