47,913 PointsYour problem is that you included the is keyword in your conditionals. The is statement tests to see if one object is the same type of object as another one, and thus is not necessary in this task. If you just remove each instance of the is keyword, your code should work. Try this:
store_open = None
store_hours = [9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18]
# Notice the lack of an "is" keyword here
if store_open in store_hours:
store_open = true
else:
# No "is" keyword here, either
if time not in store_hours:
store_open = false
