Hello again,

The method you'll want to specify is the getColor() method. By using the 'object.method()' syntax you are already clarifying to the compiler that goKart is object you want to operate on. Your goKart object has the getColor() method, which it has because it is an instance of the GoKart class, so we're calling the getColor method on that object.

      System.out.printf("the color of the new object is %s", goKart.getColor());
