I just finished the first video in the JAVA track and the instructor mentioned the "Console Foundations" course linked in the Teacher's Notes section. Is it recommended to do the console course before proceeding with the JAVA track, after I finish the JAVA track, or simultaneously with the JAVA track?

Treehouse TeacherYou know what? I'd go do it now. There are several courses on here (in different programming languages) that are going to require a good working knowledge of the console. And the course is 225 minutes. A little less than 4 hours for a course that will give you a solid foundation for many other courses? That's a very nice ROI
You don't have to leave your Java track. It will remember where you are!
