I'm getting a "Connection Failed" from Cyberduck when following along with Nick. I've tried all the suggestions from WebHostingForStudents on their FAQ and sent a ticket out. I have the same problem! And the reason is my ISP. For some reason, they block my host. My solution is, when I want to upload something, I connect internet through my iPhone with Bluetooth. If you have option like mine, I would suggest trying. As we all know ISP can be very stubborn for no reason... Hope this helps!

After investigating the issue further on some forums through webhostingforstudents, I found that it was a simple error in not properly changing my DNS on my computer to match the DNS given to me found in the "Account setup" email that I received at the time of purchase.
I would try this and see if it works for you as well.
