I know the first is != but i can't figure out the second and third i think second could be && but then what about the third

The first one is actually > , because if in a some strange situation you might have -3 tries. ( At least thats the logic behind the question).
The second is && as you said and the third should be ! following the logic of the Dunk game itself.
