Whats wrong with my code?

admitted = None
age = 22
if age >= 13:
    admitted = True
else:
   admitted = False

Do I need to add anything to the end of admitted = False? It keeps telling me that admitted has not been set to False I'm confused, thank you

Hi Alex,

The code challenge mentions that it will create the age variable.

So the problem is that you have set the age variable to 22 and this overwrites what the code challenge is setting the age variable to. Then it doesn't get the results it's expecting to get.

If you take out your second line then you should pass.

admitted = None
if age >= 13:
    admitted = True
else:
   admitted = False
