2,282 PointsConditionals Displaying In the Output
So the code seems to be correct, but when I look at the output of the code it displays numbers 1-100, THEN it also shows the ($num = 1; $num <= 100; $num++) conditionals at the end. Why is this part of the code displaying in the output?
<?php
$facts = array(
57 => ' on Heinz ketchup bottles represents the number of varieties of pickles the company once had.',
2 => ' is the approximate hours a day Giraffes sleeps',
18 => ' is the average hours a Python sleeps per day',
10 => ' per cent of the world is left-handed.',
11 => ' Empire State Buildings, stacked one on top of the other, would be required to measure the Gulf of Mexico at its deepest point.',
98 => '% of the atoms in your body are replaced every year',
69 => ' is the largest number of recorded children born to one woman',
);
//add your loop below this line
for ($num = 1; $num <= 100; $num++) {
echo $num . "<br />\n";
}
?>

Treehouse TeacherThat is an excellent question! I have no idea. And it's the same for me on this end. Also, interesting to note that when passing that challenge and moving onto the next step the preview returns a 404 error as if the file can't be found at all.
I'm going to tag another moderator and see if he can confirm what we're seeing. Care to confirm this strange behavior, Jason Anello?

Treehouse Teacherall fixed (except the 404 error, still looking into that)
you can keep the br or \n as long as they are AFTER the fact

Courses Plus Student 94,610 PointsI'm getting the same results. I believe it's an issue with the tester itself and not your code. We'll alert the staff.
Despite the extra code being output I was able to pass the challenge with the correct code so you should be able to progress while we're waiting for the issue to be resolved.
It happens to pass task 1 but you'll want to remove the
br
tag and\n
from your output or it will throw off the final output. It's expecting the facts to be directly after the numbers. Everything should be output as 1 long line.
