5,711 PointsCompile Error I am not sure what might be wrong, syntax looks good but did I use the wrong functions?
The error gives compile error. I am not sure what might be wrong with my code. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
func fizzBuzz(n: Int) -> String {
// Enter your code between the two comment markers
for i 1...100 {
if (i % 3 == 0) && (n % 5 == 0){
print("FizzBuzz")
} else if (i % 3 == 0){
print("Fizz")
} else if (i % 5 == 0){
print("Buzz")
} else {
print(i)
}
}
// End code
return "\(n)"
}

5,546 PointsHello, Syntax may look good at first, but your inside of a function so instead of printing in your if statements, you can return Strings, which would terminate function execution once the condition is true. (If you didn't get to functions yet this may be hard to understand) Also if I remember correctly, you weren't suppose to use for loop in this exercise, this is why they put this code in the function. Another thing that I noticed is that in the first if statement your checking i % 3 == 0 && n % 5 == 0 so if you take this for loop out of the function, playground is not gone know what "n" is.
check the code below:
func fizzBuzz(n: Int) -> String { // Enter your code between the two comment markers
if (n % 3 == 0) && (n % 5 == 0) {
return "FizzBuzz"
} else if (n % 3 == 0){
return "Fizz"
} else if (n % 5 == 0){
return "Buzz"
}
// End code
return "\(n)"
}
// use this for testing:
for number in 1...100 {
let result = fizzBuzz(n: number)
print(result)
}
hope this helped.
PS. im also learning, and Im not sure if I placed this comment correctly to display the code corectley.
