Comparison website

I'd like to start a comparison type website, but don't know were to start. Is there any software to help me does this? How easy is this type of website to get up and running?

What do you mean by "comparison type website"? What are you comparing? It all depends on what you are trying to build/compare.

We have bought an insurance domain name and would like to develop a website comparing car insurance prices for example www.confused.com or www.comparethemarket.com
