1,005 PointsComparing Strings with "if"statement
I don't have a clue as to how I compare strings with the "if" statement. I may be getting it wrong though.
// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console.
String firstExample = "hello";
String secondExample = "hello";
if (firstExample = secondExample) {
console.printf("first is equal to second");
{
String thirdExample = "HELLO";

In order to compare strings, you should use .equals() function instead of equals sign.
check the documentation for more info
if (firstExample.equals(secondExample)){
}
also, please notice the wrong closing bracket on your if statement
