Not sure how to set the color of anchor elements inside the nav element to white using a hexadecimal value.

So the way of styling elements inside of another one is to chain them together by specifying the elements separated by space.
For example if I wanted to style links (anchor elements) within a paragraph you would use something like below:
p a {
color: ...
}

Remember p relates to the paragraph element and it wants you to style the nav element. The rest would actually remain the same however.
