Coding language for beginners

Hi everyone, my name's Presley Tomlinson I just got started learning about coding and I joined treehouse to learn as much as I could about it before I try to get into the coding program at my college, I just needed some advice about which language I should start with, I've been told Javascript and Python would be good but if any of you would recommend a different one please let me know.

thank you very much

As JavaScript is the most-used language in the world, it's certainly a good choice for any aspiring developer to learn.

But if ease of learning is the primary concern, I would wholeheartedly recommend Python as a first language.
